Where We Come From
A Danville Legacy, Carried Forward
El Cerro Dental was founded by Dr. Gary C. Cappelletti, DDS, who cared for Danville families from the office on El Cerro Boulevard for decades. Generations of patients — parents, children, and grandchildren — came to know his careful hands, conservative philosophy, and genuine warmth.
Dr. Cappelletti has since retired, and the practice he built is now in the care of Dr. Naina Jain, DMD. The names on the door may change, but the standard he set does not: dentistry done thoughtfully, honestly, and always in the patient's best interest. We're proud to carry his legacy forward.

Dr. Naina Jain, DMD
Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD)
Dr. Naina Jain leads El Cerro Dental with a simple philosophy: listen first, explain everything, and never recommend treatment a patient doesn't need. She earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and completed advanced training in restorative and cosmetic dentistry before dedicating her career to caring for East Bay families.
Patients know Dr. Jain for the time she takes. Appointments at El Cerro Dental are never rushed — she reviews your history, walks you through what she sees on your X-rays, and lays out your options with honest guidance about what's urgent, what can wait, and what's simply cosmetic. For anxious patients, that unhurried transparency is often the thing that finally makes dentistry feel manageable.
In continuing the practice founded by Dr. Gary C. Cappelletti, DDS, Dr. Jain is committed to preserving what has always made El Cerro Dental special: conservative treatment planning, meticulous clinical work, and relationships with patients that span generations. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association.
